About
Judy Tobar Lerner is a first-generation Ecuadorian-American who grew up in New York City, bouncing between Queens, Brooklyn, and Quito, Ecuador. Her educational journey has been just as dynamic, ranging from a military school in Ecuador to a PBL high school in Queens. She began her college studies at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, focusing on Forensic Science, before pivoting to Hunter College and eventually pursuing a creative path in web and graphic design.
Starting as an intern, Judy worked her way up to managing the photography and online presence of a prominent gallery in Chelsea, where she refined her love for design (and croissants from the dearly missed City Bakery). As she entered the corporate design world, she expanded her skills into print, producing a wide range of branded materials, brochures, and sales tools as an in-house designer. She now uses her design skills to support her community.
Now based on the Westside of Los Angeles, Judy is focused on her studies and dedicating her life to her passion for education.
